5. Razer Animation

Product advertisement animation for Razer

This product advertisement took me 2 weeks to complete. The products used were all owned by me, and the characters seen are also played by me. I did the filming with a use of a tripod and Iphone, with a small light source as I wanted to keep the dark lighting for a dark and mysterious feel.

Planning Stages

Planning

Initial planning of what I wanted to showcase and what needed to be animated.

Colour Palette

As Razer is known for using neon green colours as its logo is a green snake, I decided to use a colour palette of similar green colours.

Animation Board/Ideas

An animation board with reference pictures of how I wanted the scene to look like and how typography will come into play.

Soundwave

Introduction soundwave scene where the wave is paired to the audio.

Typography

I used typography to highlight some of the key features of the product that I am using.

Work In Progress

Mainly used lighting as Razer has a very dark and mysterious feel to their products.

Unique Point Showcase

As I wanted to showcase the noise cancellation capabilities of the headset, hence I decided to animate a bubble around my subject to show that the person using the headphone is in their own bubble and is unable to hear noises from the outside.
